It’s the middle of the fall 2013 movie season and we are definitely in the thick of the heavy. Corey and Nikki return from NYC to discuss the fun things they tackled on their visit as well as some of the heavy hitters that will surely find a place on Oscar ballots in 2014 including 12 Years A Slave, Dallas Buyer’s Club, Blue is the Warmest Colour. We also cover some of the other releases grabbing attention over the past couple weeks including Captain Phillips, Jackass: Bad Grandpa and Ender’s Game.

You always knew we were Harry Potter super-fans right? Well in this special extrasode we definitely prove that fact. This past summer Cindy, Greg, Corey and Nikki had a chance to experience Cineplex Odeon’s “The Summer of Potter” where the Yonge-Dundas theatre here in the heart of downtown Toronto screened all eight of the Harry Potter films theatrically week to week in July and August . It gave us all an opportunity to re-evaluate the Potter films from the Columbus era to the closing chapters with director David Yates. So take a listen as we sound off on our thoughts of all eight films and make sure to hear our rankings of all the films towards the end of the episode as well as favourite/worst moments.
